Marathon in a Year – Episode 1: IT Band Syndrome

I’m almost a month into training now, or at least I should be. I injured my knee on literally the first run of the challenge and it has been bad ever since.

I am pretty sure I have IT Band Syndrome. I’m doing daily stretches and strengthening exercises to try and cure it but at the moment I’m not seeing any improvement. Every time I go for a jog it begins to hurt after a minute or two. I don’t know what to do…
